If you don’t know where to start, lack confidence, find restrictions or difficulty with this pose, Michelle will lead you through an alignment focused class aimed at developing and improving the focus pose.There will be ways to access and improve whatever your starting point.

Join Charlotte for Sunday mornings full of fun, mindfulness and play during term time. For little ones aged 4-12 years. Creating space for their confidence and imagination to thrive.
With a different theme each week, Yoga based games will allow your children to explore movement, strength, flexibility and awareness. Ideal to allow them to find focus for the school week.
Charlotte received professional dance training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. During this time she embarked upon her journey to find mindfulness in movement, after numerous injuries had left her unable to move comfortably and freely.
This journey into mindful movement led her to complete her 200 hour Ashtanga teacher training in Bali (July 2016) and later her Children’s yoga teacher training (May 2017).

This month’s commuinty clean up is at Woodhouse Scar, Halifax.
- We begin at Rokt Climing Gym at 10.20am with a P.A.Y.F yoga class with Dave Kane.
- Then we’ll meet at Woodhouse Scar at 12.30pm (you can just come for the clean up and climb without the yoga if you prefer).

Ideal for those starting their yoga journey, or wanting to brush up on the basics.
In the six week programme you will:
- Learn foundational postures (asanas) and posture groups;
- Examine the sun salutations and variations;
- Develop an awareness of alignment and how to safely practice;
- Delve into the history of yoga and basic philosophy;
- Explore the impact of the breath, it’s importance in your yoga practice and breathing practices (pranayama);
- Discover basic meditation techniques.
The course will enable you to develop the confidence to join the weekly drop in classes and give you a firm foundation for your practice.
On completion of the course you will receive a 20% discount off your first class pass.
A day out in the countryside with a community of beautiful souls creating a conscious movement to impact positively on the world around us. The intention is to establish a regular network of people, seeking to develop their communities through positive initiatives.
The foundations of this movement are through nature cleanups within areas of the Yorkshire Dales.
From this we hope to educate and support people in forming social action groups throughout Yorkshire.

What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘Warrior’? Perhaps a vision of a savage barbarian or noble samurai; maybe it’s a fusion of ideas. Either way, we all have a pretty clear view of what we believe that character to be, yet their place in our new world may not be so evident. Where have these roles disappeared to in our evolving technological age? Are they merely resigned to the various arenas of sport fighting or is there more?
It is far too simplistic to identify the warrior’s domain to be that of violence and fail to acknowledge the passion, power and discipline it takes to achieve such status. Humanity has seen many battles and though the incidences of bloodshed have declined; there still lies a place for the fighter in all of us. It is important for us to embrace the hidden qualities that lie within each of us, that we may use them towards the greater good. Should we fail to utilise the weapons of mind, body and soul, in time they become blunt.
The warrior lives at the edge and embraces their vulnerability.
This workshop aims to provide you with movement techniques, breath work and mindfulness practice that you may hone your skills and tackle your foes head on.
